I have decided to end this project since the code was too messy, the game was hard to update, had major performance issues and I lacked ideas and motivation. I might continue it in future, but the concept has to be rethinked.
It was a normal day on Earth. Humans were shopping, working and playing games. But something unexpected happened. We've finally found them. Or did they find us? Aliens... they needed much more oxygen to survive so they built many "oxygen towers", the air became so clean but that large amount of oxygen caused an ice age.
Hero of the Earth is an open world topdown adventure game. You gather resources with your remote controlled drone, rebuild bases and recover lost technology. You also have to fight with aliens.
Game is in very early state for now but hope you find it cool =)

Install instructions
Windows: Double click on the exe file =) For better performance, you can run your game using your graphics card. If you're playing on a laptop, it's recommended to plug it in or game may randomly drop FPS.
Linux:
- Navigate to folder where you've downloaded the game
- Open terminal and type chmod +x ./HeroOfTheEarth and chmod +x ./HeroOfTheEarth.sh
- Run HeroOfTheEarth.sh script, so the game will be ran with prime-run (graphics card). This is optional but improves performance.
